Why people don't like GMO?
I'm wondering why there's so much resistance to GMO. I mean, genetically modified organisms are supposed to increase crop yields and resistance to pests, but a lot of people seem to have strong negative feelings about them. What are the main reasons behind this dislike or distrust of GMO?

Perhaps there's a lack of understanding about the potential benefits of Golden Rice, such as its ability to provide a nutritional boost to those who might otherwise lack sufficient vitamin A in their diets. Could social and cultural factors also be playing a role, with some communities being more resistant to adopting new food sources?
